One of our ambassadors, Carena West, recently spoke to Beyond The Winning Post on how to dress for fashions in the field competitions.

In this clip Carena – whose most notable racewear win was when she was named winner of Victoria Racing Club’s MYER Fashions on the Field in 2019 – draws on her years of racewear experience as both an entrant and judge in order to provide viewers an insight into how to dress for a winner of a day at the races.

This interview is also perfectly-timed for the lead up to the national fashions in the field final, The Ned Prix de Fashion, which is set to be held here at Ellerslie on Vodafone Derby Day (March 6) and which she’s judging.

Award-winning milliner Claire Hahn also makes a cameo, talking to how millinery and accessories can be the way to a winning outfit.
