At Ellerslie owners are welcome to watch their horse race from any general admission area, any hospitality precinct they may have purchased a ticket for, the TAB Winning Post (on those days where it is not closed for a private TAB function; proof of a TAB account required for entry; entry subject to capacity) as well as the Hunterville, Mitchelson or New Zealand Rooms (Ascot Stand).
You may also watch your race from the covered, outdoor seating area allocated to owners in the Ascot Stand.
Following a race, connections of the winning horse may make their way to the Birdcage for photos.
For health and safety reasons, we ask all other owners do not enter this restricted area and instead arrange to meet their trainer elsewhere on course.
Winning connections will then be escorted into the Winners’ Circle (Ellerslie) or the Chairman’s Lounge (Pukekohe Park) to watch a race replay, meet other connections, and receive a keepsake from the Club.
Friendly reminder: some spaces are subject to a dress code. More information here.
Casual food and beverage outlets are open at our racecourses and racegoers are welcome to bring their own food and unopened non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy in outdoor, general admission areas.
Shared hospitality precincts are open on many racedays. Packages range from premier spaces with full lunch and beverage service to more casual, social areas. Hospitality precincts often sell out quickly, and we apologise if your first choice is unavailable.
We have partnered with TripleSdata to provide accurate race-time information for all our meetings. This data helps connections and stakeholders assess performance with greater detail.
Sectional data is published on this website following each raceday. You’ll also receive an email notification once the data from your horse’s race is available to view.
View Sectional DataIt is NZTR’s policy that access to the tie up stalls and stabling areas is restricted to license holders only (trainers, stablehands, Club officials and NZTR staff). We appreciate that this may be an inconvenience to some owners, however the rules are in place to protect the health and safety of both yourself and others, and your understanding and cooperation is appreciated.
The layout of Ellerslie’s stabling complex does allow owners the opportunity to get up close to their horse(s) in safe surroundings. Please ensure you remain on the white pebbled public accessways to ensure your safety.
