And when the last race wraps? The party doesn’t stop. The Birdcage is home to the Birdcage Bash – the evening’s official on-site afterparty – so why leave when the fun’s just getting started?

    • On-site parking is free and accessed through Derby Downs Place
    • All bars close shortly after the last race with the exception of the on-site afterparty and The Grove
    • Afterparty conditions apply: R18, dress code applies, intoxicated persons will not be permitted or tolerated, first-in-first served, space is limited
    • Auckland Thoroughbred Racing encourages responsible drinking and intoxicated persons will not be granted entry to Ellerslie Racecourse

    • Tickets are non-refundable and prices include GST. A separate booking fee of $1.50 per ticket will also apply upon purchase
