You’ll love the buzzing atmosphere of this sell-out spot where you can drink in the views of the racecourse, and, equally important, take in the social festivities happening all around you.

Located right beside the track & on the prestigious Champagne Lawn, you have the flexibility to stay based at your reserved table, mingle with other like-minded guests on the lawn or get close to the day’s racing as the horses thunder past.

A Champagne Lawn ticket also gets you access into General Admission areas on course including the Newmarket Room (ground floor, Ellerslie Stand), TAB Winning Post (ground floor, Ascot Stand – TAB account required) and the Maman Fashions in the Field marquee.

Following the last race, ticketholders are welcome into The Paddock (Barrett Lawn) or Cuvée where live DJ sets will round off the day until the event closes at 7.30pm.

The Champagne Lawn is typically one of the SkyCity Boxing Day Races’ liveliest locations so make sure to book your tickets now.

 

Weather update: While primarily designed as an outdoor space, this precinct has umbrellas to help provide shade / shelter as well as a larger marquee that guests are welcome to spend time in. General Admission areas, that tickets also provide access to, offer multiple undercover options.

    • On-site parking is free and accessed through Derby Downs Place

    • Auckland Thoroughbred Racing encourages responsible drinking and intoxicated persons will not be granted entry to Ellerslie Racecourse
