An odds-on raceday favourite, you’ll never miss a moment of the day’s entertainment with floor-to-ceiling glass frontages bringing exceptional views of the action directly to your table. If you’re looking for a little more detail, you can simply revert to your table’s flat-screen TV to watch the racing up close.

The menu for the day has been especially designed by Executive Chef Paul Barrett who relies on the bounty of seasonal Kiwi produce, often incorporating produce grown sustainably onsite.

Under 4s get in free (must share a seat with a paying adult). Full price tickets apply to children aged 4+.

    • On-site parking is free and accessed through Derby Downs Place
    • All bars close shortly after the last race
    • Auckland Thoroughbred Racing encourages responsible drinking and intoxicated persons will not be granted entry to Ellerslie Racecourse
