Not sure what to wear to the races or wondering if the area you're going to has a dress code?
Racing & fashion go hand-in-hand, offering you one of the best opportunities to get dressed up and make the most of an occasion like no other.
A dress code applies to certain areas on course & entry may be refused if this is not adhered to. Please remember it’s your responsibility to ensure both your attire and that of your guests meets the required standards.
Please feel free to dress up should you wish to, no matter where you choose to spend your day on course.
General Admission: No dress code applies
Hospitality precincts & the Fulton Lounge: Smart casual
No shorts, singlets, jandals or collarless shirts will be accepted in these spaces.
Traditionally guests into these areas have dressed smartly for the occasion & this tradition continues to current day, especially so on our major racedays where suits, ties & headpieces are most common but not required.
Whilst we warmly encourage you to dress up when joining us at the races, there is no specific dress code in The Infield and a laid back style of dress, including shorts, t-shirts, sandals (etc) is very commonly seen. All clothing should, however, be tidy and presentable.
Please take note of the after-race activity dress code guidelines if you are attending a raceday that allows The Infield ticketholders access into these areas and intend on joining in.
Please also check the relevant dress code for any other precincts you may have tickets for and ensure you are dressed to meet their requirements.
Please note that a ticket into The Infield does not permit the bearer into any other area oncourse, including General Admission areas.

Most people will be in raceday attire, i.e. pants & shirts, suits and dresses (with headpieces on major days), and a smart standard of dress is encouraged. It pays to check where the after party location is as there may be a dress code in place, including:
If the afterparty is in Cuvée:
Smart dress jeans (no rips) and smart dress shorts are permitted. Strictly no singlets, jandals, sneakers, sports shoes or collarless shirts such as t-shirts.
If you are going into The Paddock after the last race on Boxing Day:
While there is no specific dress code in The Paddock at the SkyCity Boxing Day Races, all clothing should, however, be tidy and presentable.
