NEWS | Key sponsor renews partnership with Auckland Racing Club

Auckland Racing Club (ARC) is thrilled to announce that major partner, Barfoot & Thompson, has renewed its’ commitment to their iconic raceday portfolio.

Barfoot & Thompson has recently confirmed that it will continue its’ partnership with Auckland Racing Club for a further four years.

They have secured their role as naming rights sponsor of events including: Christmas at the Races: Presented by Barfoot & Thompson; Barfoot & Thompson Twilight Summer Night; and Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Cup Day along with various other races throughout the season.

The sponsorships will align with the celebrations of Barfoot & Thompson’s centenary anniversary, and will mark a decade as naming rights sponsor of Auckland Cup Day in 2023.

On Saturday 7 December 2019, Christmas at the Races: Presented by Barfoot & Thompson kicks off the festive season to celebrate the year that was. This race day is part of the popular Christmas at the Races series and a firm favourite for end-of-year parties.

This year’s edition of the Barfoot & Thompson Twilight Summer Night is happening on the evening of Thursday 12 December. With racing taking place as the sun goes down, followed by an on-site after-party, this crowd favourite is always an early sell-out.
