Jockey Comments – Listed TAB Karaka Million 2YO

1st – La Dorada – Craig Williams – She gave me a lovely ride throughout, and she was too good.

2nd – Vega For Luck – Vinnie Colgan – Big run. We got lovely easy run and finished strongly.

3rd – Miss Ziggy – Sam Spratt – Settled back and was blocked at the 200m mark but came again. Huge run.

4th – To Bravery Born – Blake Shinn – He ran well. Got a nice run three back but the pace wasn’t quick which didn’t suit him, but he hit the line nice.

5th – Landlock – Rory Hutchings – A bit of a superstar. If he drew a softer gate he’d probably run second. Was exposed a little early but he tried hard.

6th – Abbakiss – Sam Weatherley – Really good run. Be a nice filly next season over ground.

7th – Daylight Robbery – Warren Kennedy – No comment.

8th – Hello Romeo – Matt Cartwright – He run a game race. He quickened nicely just tired late.

9th – Toretto – Ryan Elliott – No comment.

10th – Sierra Leone – George Rooke – A little disappointing. Never travelled well. Will be better next season.

11th – Too Sweet – Michael McNab – Unfortunate run from the gate was caught off the track.

12th – Belle Du Monde – Wiremu Pinn – Got a beautiful run and relaxed professionally. Looked like to be a chance but was knocked off her feet and her chances were taken away.

13th – Romanoff – Kevin Stott – Still a little weak. He’ll be better next year.

Last – In The Air – Craig Grylls – Jumped well but caught deep. Be a nice three-year-old.
