1st – Renegade Rebel – Matt Cameron
Top run. Got a nice soft first half of the race and quickened nicely. Too good for them.
2nd – High County – Wiremu Pinn
He’s run really well. Very genuine type. The leader got away with cheap sectionals and we couldn’t catch him. Good effort.
3rd –Rebecchi – Sam Weatherley
Lovely type that will be a lovely Derby runner. Tempo didn’t suit but finished really well.
4th – Perfectmanz – Ryan Elliot
Slow away but found a nice spot. They quickened from the half mile but never had clear air to make a run. He’s run a good race.
5th – City Gold Ready – Michael McNab
Moderate tempo. Was okay to the line.
6th – Just One – Masa Hasizume
Was unlucky caught wide and ran on. Very good run. Nice Derby type.
7th – Barrel – Warren Kennedy
Great run against winners at level weights. Tempo didn’t suit.
8th – First Innings – Joe Doyle
We got a nightmare of a run. He’s a nice horse that will keep.
9th – Saxs ‘n’ Silks – Sam Spratt
Got back a bit trying to get her to settle. She hit the line okay.
10th – War Of Succession – Opie Bosson
Not good enough.
Last – The Green Keeper – Craig Grylls
Got back from a wide draw. From the half mile was struggling.
