Here are comments from the jockeys in the Group 3 Queen Elizabeth II Cup

1st – Trust In You – Jason Collett

Good performance. Had the favourite in my sights and once I had it covered it was a case of running down the leader which he did quite nicely.

2nd –Khan Hunter – Joe Doyle

He ran a cracker race. Very honest type that could be a force in the staying races.

3rd –Mary Louise – Craig Grylls

Big run. Sat back and relaxed really well off the bridle the entire way and finished strong. Further the better with her.

4th –Terra Mitica – Warren Kennedy

Disappointing run. She wasn’t quite comfortable in the track conditions.  She changed legs  down the back straight a few times. She still tracked up  to make a run but didn’t finish the race off.

5th –My Maebelline Girl – Darren Danis

Massive run from her. A bit too dry for her, but happy with the run.

6th – Ess Vee Are – Sam Weatherley

Run was better than it looked. He’s very awkward going this way round. Going to Trentham over two miles he’ll be fine.

7th – Kiwi Man – Lyndsey Satherly

Battling run.

8th – Queen Sarabi – Kozzi Asano

Had a good trip, but wasn’t up to this company. 

Pulled Up – Platinum Invador – Jonthan Riddell

Pulled up at the 800m mark.
