Auckland Thoroughbred Racing (ATR) is pleased to announce that Marisco Vineyards (parent company of The Ned) has once again committed to being the naming rights sponsor of the national fashions in the field final, Prix de Fashion, which takes place at Ellerslie on Vodafone Derby Day (5 March 2022) as part of Auckland Cup Week®.

The new agreement sees Prix de Fashion become The Ned Prix de Fashion until the conclusion of the 2025/26 season.

Siobhan Wilson, general manager of sales and marketing at Marisco Vineyards, comments “our partnership with ATR is one of the most significant sponsorships we have with The Ned, and we are super excited to continue with this partnership for the 2022 racing season and beyond.

“We are proud to be aligned with ATR and The Ned Prix de Fashion as we see it as a fantastic opportunity for us to align our brand with a premium event that celebrates fashion, racing and, above all, living life to the fullest.”

The winner of The Ned Prix de Fashion 2022 will take home a prize valued at $15,000 from Marisco Vineyards as well as additional prizes still to be announced.

ATR’s executive general manager of marketing, Olivia Kinley, says the renewed deal with The Ned was a show of confidence in both Auckland Cup Week® and raceday fashion in New Zealand.

“We are delighted that despite the challenging times we’re all presently facing, The Ned continues to see value in their partnership with us and this prestigious racewear competition.

“We look forward to seeing this valued partnership come to life on the runway on Vodafone Derby Day in early March 2022,” says Ms Kinley.
