The most competitive fashions in the field in the country, this is the culmination of a year’s worth of raceday competitions and for the first time in 2023, the opening round of The Ned Prix de Fashion was open to women who had yet to pre-qualify for the national final in one of the regional competitions that took place around the country this season.
We recently named these four ‘wild card’ winners and they’ve joined our 11 pre-qualified regional finalists in the semi final.
Our 11 regional finalists gained their spots by taking out a qualifying competition held at racedays around New Zealand over spring / summer. These qualifying competitions were held as far south as Invercargill and as north as Auckland.
The finalists had until the end of April to pull their competition outfit together (they also had the choice to wear the outfit they won their regional competition in) and then submit up to five images and an optional video for our judging panel of seven astute representatives to score.
Stay tuned for the announcement of the Grand Finalists of The Ned Prix de Fashion to be announced on this blog and our social channels.
