A raceday experience to beat them all

Of course we think any day at the races is an exceptional one, but if you’re really looking to impress and entertain your team or clients, there’s nothing quite like the Platinum Experience.

A behind-the-scenes experience on a raceday is an exclusive privilege usually reserved for prize winners, media or sponsors, which is why Jess Innes of the Platinum Group decided to work with us on creating a one-of-a-kind experience that would open it up to anyone.

“I’m married to a jockey, so I have personal insight into this fascinating sport and created the Platinum Experience so that I could share that with people,” she says.

Jess explains that from having to lose weight before a race, to different riding tactics, to how to analyse track conditions and work with the race style of the horse they are riding (“front runner” or “last minute spring”), there’s a huge amount of preparation from the jockeys for each race.

“In addition to revealing all those tips and tricks during a meet and greet with a jockey, the Platinum Experience delivers personal tips and insights into which horses could place in the race.

“You’ll take an electric golf cart ride right up to the starting gate and be seated at a table in a prime viewing location in your hospitality area.

“You’ll also get to mix and mingle with horse owners, trainers and jockeys in the Parade Ring before a race, and even head up to the fifth floor of the Ascot Stand to see commentator George Simon in action during a live race call.”

With an extensive corporate clientele and rave reviews from the likes of Vodafone and Barfoot & Thompson, the Platinum Experience can cater for between 10-150 people and Jess can help to tailor the right experience for your group.

“The other great thing about this experience is that it is only one and a half hour’s long, so afterwards you get the rest of the day to relax.

“It’s a truly fantastic and surprisingly cost effective way to enhance your day at the races,” she says.
